Fodder

The grey men considered the data
the tall thin gray man smiled
the others nodded
the fat short gray man snorted
a young gray man closed his eyes and grimaced as if he were having an orgasm
the elder gray man queried, "agreed". The others, one at a time, raised a fist of five each. The second eldest wrote in a fine hand, in the leather-covered book, "Consensus reached unanimous.

The third eldest addressed the others:

They revel in their ignorance, wearing it as a badge of honor.
The are unforgiving. They have no charity. They have a love/hate relationship with authority. They love money more than life. They fear an angry God. The despise people who are not of their clan. They have an unrelenting need to feel superior to others. Their narcissism is beat into them. They celebrate bullies. They are as gullible as children. They are incapable of discerning nuance, nor can they distinguish between opinion and fact. Their loyalty is legendary. They cannot admit to error and would rather fight to the death to defend the unworthy, be it cause or person, than to self correct. They will do anything to win. They will lie, steal, cheat, falsely accuse, push, shove, scream, threaten and kill if they must. They are perfect fools and we will use them, and fuck them and they will love us still.
